2007 Dodge Nitro - Why does my clock reset when I turn my ignition off?

I have never had any problems with this vehicle. It has been a great ride. So, please spare me any negative comments about Dodge's or Nitro's. I need to know some thoughts about what may be causing this. Thank you.
