Would you read this story idea or is it retarded...?

If you believe you can make it work it is never a bad idea. But even so, i think that you have the plot for what could potentially be a really good book. If you like it, work on it, and eventually you will get there. Ignore the people that say its wont ever work. There will always be haters but to be honest nobody likes the anyway so really the haters are the hated :D
